This Cookie Policy explains how Trial Systems uses cookies and similar technologies on this website.
It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files that a website can store on your device. Similar technologies, such as browser storage or a small analytics script, can also store or access information on your device.
Not every technology of this kind is used for advertising, and not every technology requires a cookie consent banner.
This policy reflects the technologies used by this website and the UK Information Commissioner's Office guidance on storage and access technologies.
Technologies used on this website
This website uses a small number of technologies. They are used for the site to work, for administrator access, for first-party analytics, or for videos that you choose to play.
We do not use advertising cookies, remarketing cookies or Google Analytics on this website.
Essential website functionality
The public website can be viewed without accepting optional marketing cookies. We do not set advertising or marketing cookies.
Some technical storage is needed for the website and its forms to work normally.
Administrator authentication cookies
If you sign in to the administrator area, Supabase authentication stores a session so that you remain signed in and can manage the website.
These cookies or similar storage items are essential for the administrator area. They are not used to advertise to public visitors.
Vercel Web Analytics
On the production website, we use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how public pages are used.
This is first-party analytics. It is not used for advertising. Administrator pages are excluded.
Vercel Web Analytics is designed to measure website use without relying on advertising cookies. We do not treat it as a marketing cookie, and this website does not show a cookie consent banner for it.
YouTube embedded videos
Some pages can play a product video hosted by YouTube. The video player does not load until you choose to play it.
If you play the video, YouTube may set cookies or use similar technologies and may collect information about that interaction. YouTube is provided by Google.
You can decline to play the video. If you do not play it, the embedded YouTube player is not loaded.
Supabase-related browser storage
Supabase is used for website data and for administrator authentication. Public visitors do not need to sign in. Administrator session storage is described above.
Other third-party technologies
If you use the contact form, your enquiry is sent using EmailJS. That happens when you submit the form, not when you simply browse the website.
We do not use social media tracking pixels on this website. Links to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn or YouTube in the footer take you to those websites. They do not embed those services on every page.
How visitors can manage browser cookies
You can use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. The steps vary by browser.
If you block all cookies, some parts of the website, particularly the administrator area, may not work.
Your browser may also include controls for site data and third-party content.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if the technologies used on the website change. The published version on this page is the current version.
